Keyboard shortcuts & faster navigation

Use the keyboard and ServiceTimer’s remembered page state to move through production work without losing your place.

Core workflow

  1. 1

    Press Ctrl+K on Windows/Linux or Command+K on macOS to open Quick navigation and commands such as New Script, Create Plan, Start Rehearsal, Open Controller, Open Service Timer, or Copy Team View link.

    Press / when you are not typing to focus the current page search; if that page has no search field, ServiceTimer opens Quick navigation.

  3. 3

    Press Ctrl+S or Command+S to save the current async settings/editor form when that page supports it.

  4. 4

    Use Esc to close Bootstrap modals, dropdowns, and other dismissible overlays; use Tab and Shift+Tab for normal keyboard navigation.
